Survivor™ Line Bags

The Survivor™ Line Bags contain Samson Tech-12, 1/4" 8,200 lbs. 100% Technora Line. FR Water Repellent Bag of 250D, NFPA-701-2015 Florescent Yellow fabric.

Using the ESS Patent Pending #63/668,958 Line Wrapping Process, the line is stored in a very compact configuration to help prevent kinks and knots. Unlike normal line bags, this line comes out STRAIGHT, NO TWIST AND NO KINKS! These lines pull from the bag with very little resistance making them the PERFECT THROW BAGS! 

All Survivor™ Line Bags attach to the Survivor™ Harness in the same manner. Survivor™ Line Bags 60 and 100 will fit in the Harness Pouch with the Survivor™ Harness. Survivor™ Line Bag 200 has an added Strap Handle. With the sternal connecting point on the Survivor™ Harness, the distance from your chest to your feet is added to the distance you can descend. With the Survivor™ Line Bag 60, you are able to descend 60 feet or more depending on your height.

The Survivor™ Line Bags are for Emergency Use Only. They CANNOT be repacked in the field. If undamaged after use, the lines can be returned to ESS for repacking or a replacement purchased.

The Survivor Line Bag 60 shown attached to the Survivor™ Harness comes standard with the Survivor™ Harness.

THE 1EDS RACK DESCENT CONTROLLER USED ON THE SURVIVOR HARNESS WITH THE SAMSON TECH-12, 1/4" LINE, HAS BEEN CERTIFIED BY UNDERWRITERS LABORATORY (UL) IN ACCORDANCE WITH ANSI/ASSP Z359.9-2021, TYPE 6, STANDARDS.
