Patent Pending #63/671,366 ESS Survivor™ Escape/Rescue Harness is perfect for Firefighters, EMS, and Law Enforcement. Super fast to put on and use anytime an emergency descent is needed. Comes standard with the Line Bag 60, ESS FireHook™, Harness Pouch, and the Practice Stuff Bag 40. Line Bag 60 allows for a 60 foot descent. Survivor Line Bags of 100 or 200 feet available.  

The Survivor™ can fit in most cargo pockets or can be carried on a belt. Keep them in the truck or trunk for emergency use. 

The Survivor™ has a standard 60 Feet Decent Range that ELIMINATES TOPPLING with the Sternal attachment point. Longer Line lengths are available up to 200 feet.

THE SURVIVOR™ RESCUE HARNESS IS THE FIRST OF ITS KIND THAT CAN BE USED ON AN UNCONSCIOUS VICTIM OR FIREFIGHTER. A FREEFALL IS NOT POSSIBLE, A CONTROLLED DESCENT IS BUILT INTO THE DESIGN. 

The Survivor™ Harness including Line Bag 60 and FireHook™ weighs 4 pounds and is very compactable. Stored in its own Harness Pouch. 

The Survivor™ Harness can be donned in approximately 15 SECONDS WHILE WEARING FULL GEAR.

The Survivor™ Harness uses 7,300 MBS 1/4" fire resistant 100% Technora Samson Tech-12 Line, Kevlar webbing and 5,000 lb., D-Ring and Snaps.

The ESS 1EDS Rack Descent Controller used in the Survivor™ Harness has been certified by UL with the Samson Tech-12 line in accordance with ANSI/ASSP Z359.9-2021, Type 6, standards. 

The Survivor™ uses the ESS Patent Pending #63/668,958 Line Wrapping Process that prevents kinks and knots. This new process allows for a very long line to be placed in a very small, compact bag. These lines pull from the bag with very little resistance also making them perfect Throw Bags.

The Survivor™ Line Bags are for Emergency Use Only. They CANNOT be repacked in the field. If undamaged after use, the lines can be returned to ESS for repacking or a replacement purchased. The included Survivor™ Practice Stuff Bag 40 can be repacked in the field for repeated training descents of up to 40 feet. 

Available optional Survivor™ Line Bags 100 or 200, for extended ranges of descent are available. All Survivor™ Line Bags attach to the Survivor™ Harness in the same manner, and they can be quickly changed.
